Cascade Weaving

Weaving M's and O's

Part of the class Weaving- Beginning and Beyond
Dates: October 14, 21, 28, 2017
Time: 9am to 12pm

M's and O's is a weave structure that has been around for several centuries at least. It is mostly used for towels because of its absorbency, but it is also pretty as blouse fabric when very fine threads are used, or couch throws when heavy wool is used. In this class you will make cloth for sachets filled with cedar blocks. You will be using finer thread than you might have used before, so you will learn how to manage fine threads plus learn how to thread and weave M's and O's. Come prepared to pick your color and have fun weaving. Call for more information.
