Weaving Huck

Fall 2019
Date: Saturdays, October 12, 19, 26, 2019
Time: 9am to 12pm

Weaving huck fabric is fun. With a loom you can weave a fabric that has yarns "floating" over the background plain weave. These floats make the fabric very absorbent, so huck is great for towels. In this class you will find out some of the different ways that huck can be woven. You will weave a sampler in the form of a cowl or a table mat. This class is for students who have already had a beginning weaving class or similar experience.
