Cascade Weaving

Beginning Weaving

Dates: October 8, 15, 22, 2022
Time: 9am to 12pm
With a four-shaft loom you can weave so many neat patterns. In this class you will learn (or relearn) the basics of weaving on a floor loom, which is operated with the hands and feet, or a table loom, which is operated only with the hands. On the first day you will weave a kitchen towel on a loom that is already set up; the other days you will learn how to warp the loom and weave a scarf. Detailed hand-outs will be provided to help you weave later when you get your own loom. Whether you have woven before or not, this class will give you a good foundation in the creative and fulfilling craft of weaving.
