Raddle Group Calculator

Ends per raddle group:

ColorNumber of ends for that color?

This calculator is useful when you want to make a multicolored warp with a raddle cross. The program calculates the number of each color of thread that needs to be included in each raddle group.

The colors need to be added to the program following the warp order. Type the first color in the appropriate box along with the number of warp ends needed for that color. You can add as many colors as needed...just click the "add color" button and put in the number of warp ends for that color. Depending on the warp, you may need to add the same color multiple times (for each occurence of that color in the warp pattern). I find it convenient to add all the color boxes at the start by pressing the "add color" button as many times as needed and then just filling in the spaces with the colors and thread counts for each color.

Once you have added all your colors, press the "calculate" button to see how the colors are distributed in each raddle group. For complicated warps encompassing multiple colors, this program is quite useful. Try it!
